How we work
Building a dodger
The photographs below show the process for producing a drop top dodger from scratch – in this case a fully-functional 3′ model on display in our Rockland shop. The process is effectively the same for full-scale dodgers, biminis and other pieces.
Precision is key for a clean, tight fit.
Attention to detail gives the best finish and a long-lasting piece.
Completed model drop top dodger
Note how our Gemolock folding struts serve a both tensioning bars and grab rails while the dodger is up, then fold up and out of the way when the dodger top is stowed.
