Our charts below gives useful product specifications for the hardware sold on this site that is manufactured by us at Gemini Marine Products.
All cast metal products (including those made by us and by others) are stainless steel. Gemini Marine Products are made with 316 stainless steel.
Plastic hinges are made with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic, fiberglass reinforced, with a 316 stainless steel link.

Other useful information
Concave post mounts, Sliding side mounts and Split side mounts – all sizes:
Posts lift attachments approximately 1¼” (32mm) off tubing. We do not make other sizes. You can cut the post down if you need to. Posts are threaded almost to the very bottom, so you can still screw down into them if they are cut.
Concave fork and post mounts – installing:
We use a #10 tap then 10×24 (up to 1/4″ long) screws to attach to tubing. There is no need to throughbolt, but there is no harm in doing so if you wish. You can also add a small patch of either leather or rubber under the concave saddle if you feel you want more grip, but we do not do this as a rule as we have not found it to be necessary. If installed correctly, you will not get water leakage, even if you screw right through your canvas.
Sliding side mounts WILL NOT go around bends in tubing:
If you need to access tubing inside a bend, use a split side mount (which you can attach right ON a bend if you like).
