With the DrillSteady drill guide:
- You can drill a bent frame corner, stanchion or other tubing in place. There is no need to disassemble or remove tubing from your boat. This will save you time and money on cutting and welding (or repairing drilling mistakes)
- A 9/64″ (3.5mm) drill bit is held in place securely (use #8 screws)
- Large, knurled thumbscrews mean an easy grip and tight fit on tubing with diameter 3/4″ – 1 1/4″ (19.05mm – 31.75mm)
- The durable cast metal drill guide body (zinc for DrillSteady, bronze for DrillSteady PRO) will not mar your shining stainless steel
- The sturdy, tool steel drill bushing will give you years of service
- Invented and made right here in Maine
Our *NEW* DrillSteady PRO has all the features of DrillSteady, but with a even tougher cast bronze body. Great for heavy use, we’re so sure DrillSteady PRO will keep up with you that we’ll replace it if it ever breaks under normal use. Just send us back the broken parts, tell us what you were drilling when it broke, and we’ll send you a new one.

Concave post rails
Purchased 4 concave post rails to use in mounting 4 x 175 watt flexible solar panels to the Bimini frame on my 40.5 Hunter Legend. Panels will be supported by a frame of 7/8″ 316 stainless tubing joined by 90 deg corner fittings and T Fittings along the two interior rails all in 316 stainless. Used your drill guide Pro to mount the posts to the Bimini and the solar frame rails to the posts. Had to use a slightly longer bolt than one supplied with the posts to reach through the 7/8″ stainless tubing but all is secured and the panels are making power for both the 2 x 8D AGM house batteries and the AGM start battery. Thanks for the prompt service on my order delivery.

Great piece of kit, worked as described. Great for initial hole drilling and also as a pilot hole for a larger bit if a bigger hole is required.
